Person of Interest in Ivy League Campus Incident Located Deceased Inside Self-Storage Unit.

The suspect believed to be the weekend's deadly violence at Brown University reportedly took his own life on Thursday evening, per law enforcement.

His body was discovered at a storage facility on Thursday evening, according to information from an enforcement source. This suspect is also suspected of the murder of a Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor at a residence in the Boston area.

“He ended his own life tonight,” said the head of the Providence police department during a press conference.

The police official identified the individual as Claudio Nevis Valenti, a 48-year-old individual enrolled at Brown University.

This development comes after a significant police operation at a storage facility in Salem, New Hampshire earlier on Thursday. Witnesses described seeing multiple armed officers converging on the premises.

The intensive search for the shooter had restarted on Monday after the attorney general's office announced that a individual detained on Sunday had been let go. This development was admitted to be deeply concerning for the local community.

Local officials noted that while the letting go was a disappointment, the overall case continued without interruption.

The young victims who were killed in the attack have been named by family. They are Ella Cook, a second-year student from Alabama who was active in a campus political group, and MukhammadAziz Umurzokov, an international student in his freshman year who dreamed of becoming a neurosurgeon.

Authorities are expected to hold a press conference to provide further details on the suspect's death.
