Manchester United have announced the departure of manager Ruben Amorim after a little over a year in charge. The move comes amid a significant power struggle over January funds and despite the team's unbeaten run.

Statistically, the Portuguese manager's time at Old Trafford was undistinguished. He departs with a win ratio of less than 39 per cent and a points-per-game average of 1.24 in the top flight. The team suffered more defeats than it won in the calendar year 2025.
